Indo-Dutch fusion music concert

DOUBLE DUTCH DELIGHT

(2 cultural programs on 2 consecutive days)

1. Tuesday, 15th November at 7 pm - Boi Akih group performance at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Boi Akih Trio, comprising Monika Akihary (vocalist), Niels Brouwer (Guitarist) and Sandeep Bhattacharya (Tabla), from The Netherlands will also perform at Kolkata in Song of Soul Festival between 16 to 20 November; Mumbai (23 Nov, Blue Frog, and Jazz at the Bay Mumbai) as well as Bangalore (27 Nov, Raja Rajeshwari Cultural Association). The trio plays acoustically.



2. Wednesday, 16th November at 6 pm – De Stilte Dance theatre group performance at The National School of Drama, Abhimanch Theatre, 1 Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi.

Passes for the event can be collected either from the Embassy or directly from National School of Drama from 9th November onwards from 11 am to 4 pm. This performance is part of the European Union Cultural Week which will be held in New Delhi from 11th till 17th November.

As part of their CSR approach, the group will give a free concert for underprivileged children of Smile Foundation in Delhi on 15th November.

Moreover, the group will perform concert/workshop also in Saharanpur and at The Welham girls School in Dehradun. Events at both these places are being organized by SPICMACAY (The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth).

The entry for both the performances is free of cost. Seating on a first come first serve basis.

European Union Sanskriti Festival van 11 november tot 17 november.


The European Union Cultural Week is back in New Delhi, celebrating Children's Day with exciting performances from all over Europe. From 11 to 17 November, young Delhiites are invited to enjoy music and theatre performances, exhibitions, literature shows and special film screenings, which are brought together under the common cultural umbrella of the EU Sanskriti Festival.

Come and enjoy Polish and Romanian puppet theatres, contemporary dance from Belgium and Netherlands.

Zondag 13 november om 3 pm & 6 pm / Ultra: (twee voorstellingen dus):
Een voorstelling van een tijdloze dans voor kinderen van 3 tot 6 jaar.

Programma Nederland:
Woensdag 16 november om 6 pm / Madcap:
Een voorstelling van een tijdloze dans gebracht door De Stilte.
